Andy is an Associate Principal at Smith Gee Studio and serves as our Director of Quality Management. He has wide-ranging experience including civic, retail, commercial, medical, single-family and multi-family residential, industrial, educational, and ecclesiastical projects. He has broad experience in project management, quality management, consultant coordination, detailing, budgeting and tracking of projects and proposals, specification writing, and staff training.

With great attention to detail, Andy is responsible for ensuring our project drawings are as complete and correct as can be before final CDs are issued. Andy has extensive knowledge of building codes and a high level of technical expertise which he has brought to such projects as Kenect Nashville and commercial development at Berry Farms in Franklin, TN. As the Architect of Record Project Manager for Ascend Amphitheater, he led the architectural team in a complex and highly detailed fast-track construction project resulting in an award-winning civic structure completed in 20 months from contract signing to first performance.
