Marla Skipper started her first retail location, known as Southern Vintage Market in a cozy and cramped little yellow house in Brentwood, TN. In 2016, she had a vision to redefine her brand in urban Nashville as SVM, with a completely different concept. For her Nashville store, Marla engaged Smith Gee Studio to help create this fresh, clean, uncluttered, and modern retail experience. Located in the Capital View Building in downtown Nashville, the store she envisioned became a reality.
