Nationally renowned eatery Central BBQ began expanding their locations in 2019. Smith Gee Studio designed their first new restaurant space outside of Memphis near the state’s capitol in Nashville, TN. Following the success of the first location, a second restaurant was added in what was a dilapidated restaurant space that needed several updates. For this location, near the campus of Vanderbilt University, SGS retained the character of the existing building and designed a space which includes a take-out window and a 2nd floor space for private events. signature barbeque options.
