PROJECT INFORMATION
SGS created a master plan and rezoning for a new mixed-use development on a 3-1/2 acre urban infill site in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood of Nashville. The project optimizes the development’s potential though a mix of structured parking, moderate density residential, and ground-level commercial while providing an appropriate scale and height transitions to the surrounding neighborhood fabric. ‘Artist gallery’ inspired live/work units help activate a living alley to create a unique outdoor living room that embraces the local arts community. An existing warehouse is repurposed to attract a specialty commercial tenant fronting the living alley.
