Located in the village of Oak Lawn, 11 miles SW of Chicago, the property is situated in an area originally named Black Oaks Grove for the abundance of Black Oaks lining the neighborhood. The iconic 12-story, 186 room hotel will undergo a total renovation of all the public, food and beverage, conference, guestroom and amenity spaces transforming the property into a contemporary modern hotel with a boutique approach.

Blending the old with new, the design will incorporate a range of oak materials connecting it to the historic roots. Custom art and millwork will further promote a connection with the local arts district community and the future urban plan to create an “Avenue of the Arts” district adjacent to the site.
