Lendon

Smith Gee Studio served as Town Architect and master planner for Lendon, a 100-acre mixed-use community located in the scenic Jones Valley area of Huntsville, AL.

Our team worked closely with the client to shape every aspect of the project, from Master Planning and Housing Typologies to Design Guidelines, Streetscape Design, Plan Books, and overall development strategy and marketing. Designed as a Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND), Lendon offers a diverse mix of housing options surrounding a vibrant, walkable town center that blends residential, retail, and civic spaces.

Construction kicked off in early 2013, setting the foundation for a thoughtfully connected, community-focused neighborhood.
