    Licensed or on path to licensure preferred. Professional degree from an accredited program preferred. Engages in specific technical aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of the design solutions that best meets the client’s needs. Collaborates with their team members to achieve a visionary design that meets the goals of the team and client. May provide consultation in the planning, design and coordination of large complex projects. Exemplifies integrity when interacting with stakeholders. Shows inclusion by incorporating their teammates’ ideas and applies advanced concepts for designs. Capable of preparing project specifications. Carries out assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques. Provides technical guidance to less experienced team members. Impacts the success of the team by contributing to the following:

    Responsibilities

    • Starting to actively take on project management roles on smaller projects
    • Ability to lead the design and documentation process
    • Developed skill sets in design and construction documentation & able to teach others
    • Ability to review own work and work of designers
    • Assist and guide designers
    • Ability to work with all team members
    • Demonstrates all of the key requirements of team work, and the virtues of a “Team Player”
    • Coordinates and communicates with consultants
    • Reviews consultant drawings for coordination
    • Distributes tasks to themselves and others to meet intermediate deadlines
