    Usually spending time with my family while camping, backpacking, cooking or traveling.

    I have several – Centennial Park, the Germantown Neighborhood, and the whole Warner Parks system.

    The reason I wanted to become an Architect/Designer was

    I always wanted to be an architect from the time I was seven years old. The more I found out about the profession, the more I wanted to be involved in helping shape communities and places where people live their lives.

     

    Dallas is a Founding Principal at Smith Gee Studio with over two decades of experience managing residential, mixed-use, institutional, hospitality, and commercial projects throughout the United States. He’s been an integral part of the development at Berry Farms, a Traditional Neighborhood Development in Franklin, Tennessee, including condos, apartments, townhomes, live-work, a preschool, and commercial buildings. Dallas has also led design teams for multiple projects in walkable urban communities including Taylor Place (Nashville, TN), Rolling Mill Hill (Nashville, TN), Lenox Village (Nashville, TN) and Town Madison (Madison, AL).

    He has earned a reputation as a relentless problem solver for his creative, flexible, and innovative approach to project team management. In addition to the project teams and clients he collaborates with, Dallas oversees the financial management of Smith Gee Studio. He helps ensure we stay rooted in a sound foundation, allowing Smith Gee Studio to stay at the forefront of the ever-evolving design industry.

    Dallas is a supporter and served as Executive Director and Past-President of the board of Rebuilding Together Nashville, a not-for-profit serving low-income homeowners with home repairs and renovations. Currently he volunteers his time and leadership skills to Scouts BSA as an adult leader for both Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops.
